These are the perfect size for pendant lighting over a kitchen island and are good quality. I replaced the too-modern ones our builder installed and these look great. This is a pretty light fixture (mine is a satin black) but complicated to put together a bit. That’s okay really but it’s just not an “unbox and hang” kind of fixture and because it’s large, and extra set of hands is nice. That said, it is unique and can lend to a variety of home styles. Keep in mind your bulbs are bare, candelabra base with no shade. You’ll want to choose a decorative bulb (more expensive) that is warmer so that it’s not blinding. That means this fixture should be more of an accent than primary lighting since that will look too harsh and have too many shadows. It’s lightweight which makes hanging easier.. Taral. Eureka, IL.
