To create the elaborate shape, a skilled artisan works molten glass into a paste mold as an assistant assiduously turns it. With careful timing, the team produces a seamless piece of beautifully figured glasswork. Smooth cylinders of metal sporting exposed-filament bulbs complement the round contours and curves of this breathtaking outer layer of glass.
