These are the perfect size for pendant lighting over a kitchen island and are good quality. I replaced the too-modern ones our builder installed and these look great. Love our new fixture! The glass had a couple of small scratches, but nothing worth sending back over, so that's why I gave it a 4. The glass did have this weird fog/haze that did not go away after cleaning with window cleaner. This is a pretty light fixture (mine is a satin black) but complicated to put together a bit. That’s okay really but it’s just not an “unbox and hang” kind of fixture and because it’s large, and extra set of hands is nice. That said, it is unique and can lend to a variety of home styles. Keep in mind your bulbs are bare, candelabra base with no shade. You’ll want to choose a decorative bulb (more expensive) that is warmer so that it’s not blinding.
