It arrived within 2 days of purchase. The assembly instructions were fairly easy to understand. Tip- to be successful, you will need a power drill to put attach the bed slats to the frame. Assembly mentions a screwdriver but honestly it will take you days if you did that. We bought an 8 inch thick mattress for the trundle and a 10 inch for the top. Both fit perfectly. It is larger than I thought but looked quite nice once it was set up. I used twin sheets and comforter and it fit nicely. Overall, very pleased with the purchase for our guest room. Pattie. This daybed worked great for my office. We used an XLtwin mattress which fit perfectly. Husband said putting it together was no problem. This is a decent swing. Some of the screws are not easy to get as tight as you might like due to their placement. My only significant complaint is that the hanging ropes are one size (8’ long - meaning you need an 11’-12’ ceiling) and that they are so WHITE that it contrasts with the beautiful wood tones. I purchased a sage green. I was surprised at the style of the bed because the headboard and footboard profiles were thicker than predicted on the picture. From the image, the headboard appeared a bit more sleeper as well as the footboard. Overall, the bed is solid and has been performing well. I use a 12 inch foam mattress. But after a few days, I decided to use the 5” box spring that I purchased to use for this unit. The style and comfort is great. The box spring allow the foam mattress to perform so much better. The mattress height isn’t low. It’s like a standard bed. If you want an If you want a lower profile bed, the boxspring is not required. Overall I’m satisfied. I wish the images aligned more with the product. Delivery and set up was great. There is flexibility with changing the set up date to meet the delivery date.
