It arrived within 2 days of purchase. The assembly instructions were fairly easy to understand. Tip- to be successful, you will need a power drill to put attach the bed slats to the frame. Assembly mentions a screwdriver but honestly it will take you days if you did that. We bought an 8 inch thick mattress for the trundle and a 10 inch for the top. Both fit perfectly. It is larger than I thought but looked quite nice once it was set up. I used twin sheets and comforter and it fit nicely. Overall, very pleased with the purchase for our guest room. Pattie. Wow this bed has exceeded my expectations , usually I would go with something more plush and upholstered , however this bed caught my eye and I’m so glad I went with this one . This bed is truly timeless ! It’s solid wood , and each detail was crafted to stand the test of time . The rich brown color is perfect to fit any style of decor . The bed was delivered in 3 separate boxes and only took about an hour to assemble with 2 people . The pieces are heavy and you will need at least 2 to assemble . This daybed worked great for my office. We used an XLtwin mattress which fit perfectly. Husband said putting it together was no problem.
