GORGEOUS CHRISTMAS TREE! I was so super nervous about ordering this tree because, while the good reviews were good, the negative reviews were pretty bad. And with our large living room with high ceilings, we need the 9' tree so it was not an inexpensive purchase. I think a lot of times this type of purchase can be a hit or miss . . . just like with cars, there's gonna be a lemon in every lot. With all that being said, I spent about 3 hours last night unpacking and fluffing. For the very first time, I set up and fluffed ONE section at a time (this big monster has 4 sections). The result is THE fluffiest fullest artificial Christmas tree I have ever seen! With the variation of branches along with the different sizes and colors of the pinecones, it is just beautiful. Ultimately I'm very pleasesd with my purchase. It does require a LOT of fluffing. I spent what felt like an hour separating the branches and got sick of doing it while there are still some huge gaps. Perhaps someone with more patience and meticulousness would do better. Even with the gaps, it looks really full. The "trunk" is covered with needle-like material so that helps a lot. The "needles" are very realistic. The tips of the branches are made of a different material and look very life-like. Very easy to set up. Do yourself a favor and actually measure the area you will use for the tree. My tree is too tall for my angel, and even with the back half up against a wall with the branches still folded up, I can't use that side of my couch, but that's on me. Beautiful tree! I bought the 7.5' tree and am impressed. It does take a lot of time to fluff and separate the faux tips ( there are 2 to 3 on each branch), like the maker says abut 1.5 hours at least. The hinged branches make putting the lights on a breeze. I'm glad the branches are sturdy and can hold heavier ornaments without any bending. My only complaint is my tree toppers won't fit over the faux tips on top. I did not use the enclosed gloves to fluff the tree and I regretted it. Recommend using gloves to prevent scratches.
