It was fully assembled by the Birch Lane team when they arrived. So I cannot comment on assembly, but it maybe took 15-20 minutes from unpack to assembled. Beyond the aesthetics though, nesting allows you to customize it a bit to your space, making it a bit larger or smaller depending on the room. What I dont like The newer styles of coffee tables are a bit lower in heighI. This small table is only 13.5 inches high which for me doesnt make sense without the larger table nested with it. Dark Brown

Inspired by the Scandinavian aesthetic of beauty, simplicity and functionality, the Rune Coffee Table epitomizes definition of modern and relaxed design. A dark brown, solid mango wood has been beautiful fashioned into a rectangle top and two t-shaped legs. The wood itself has been polished to showcase its rustic grain.

While the table design is nice I was very disappointed with the defective construction of the legs. The holes for the bolts that secure the crossbar to the legs were not deep enough to hold anything in place and the crossbar did not fit flush with the legs causing the whole thing to wobble. The cross bar also appeared to be warped and misaligned. All in all the legs weren't anywhere near secure enough to support what is a very very heavy table top safely.
