The colors were perfect! It came folded and rolled so the rubber backing was sticking to each other when unfolded. It has a "new" smell but that will go away. This is such a pretty rug. Very soft, but thin so you will need a pad underneath. I actually ordered mine a little too small accidentally but I am going to layer it over a plain jute rug.
