This rug is just stunning! We purchased it in the 6/9 size and it exceeds expectations especially for the price! We also purchased a rug pad for underneath (also from Birch Lane and we love it) and that keeps it beautifully in place. Looking for a way to warm up cold tile or hardwood floors? Our natural jute/sisal area rug with fringed edges is the perfect solution. Its weather-worn finish and geometric pattern give a soft look, while its flatweave construction allows easy movement of doors and easy cleaning. The low 0.01" pile is excellent for rolling out in high-traffic living rooms or entryways since it won't interrupt swinging doors. It is perfect for impressing guests in your foyer or providing comfort for your family. For added safety and traction, we recommend adding a rug pad.

Aside from the high price I love everything about this rug. I wanted a solid navy rug in a very small bedroom.. and in general I think that if decor is simple.. the quality becomes more obvious. This is lovely.. Alexandra. Saugerties, NY. Mon Aug 03 2026

Hand-braided using jute and wool, it gives off a textured look even with a super-low pile that's great for high-traffic locations (think, living room or entryway). And the dynamic fringe is simply out-of-sight. It comes in an array of muted hues that range from black and brown to tan and gray, and it's safe to roll out over heated floors. To keep it from slipping and sliding around, we think adding a rug pad underneath is a good idea.

This rug is amazing. Far better in person. The online photo hints at maybe some orange but there is none. It’s the perfect tan with no red undertones so it’s perfect with grays and other wood tones. It’s thick and extremely well made. Has a hand-woven quality and feels nice underfoot. Yes, it’s jute so it has that jute smell but I love it. It’s not rough and scratchy like many jutes-just textural. Was packaged super carefully and arrived in excellent condition. This rug would complement any decor and room and lays nice and flat even after only one day. I highly recommend it.. Taral. Eureka, IL. Sat May 04 2024

Inspired by textiles from the Tullu region of Morocco, this Alpine rug showcases a heathered solid design in neutral shades of gray and white. Durable wool is hand-knotted onto a cotton foundation for lasting warmth and comfort, and braided fringe trims the edges for a touch of boho charm.

This is gorgeous!! I love that this rug is thin enough to fit under a door but it is durable and very well made. I also love the slight color variation. I think that makes it look more expensive. This is beautiful and not bright. A perfect rust color.. Amy. California. Mon May 26 2025
