It’s hand-tufted from a blend of wool and cotton, providing a natural layer underfoot that feels substantial in high-traffic spots. The interlocking motif anchors your furniture while remaining easy to coordinate with existing pieces. A medium pile height offers padding without obstructing swinging doors or creating a tripping hazard. This piece is safe for floors with heating, making it a versatile choice for any home. This was a last minute addition after ordering other Alice rugs for my kitchen. The colors work well with the other rugs, but I had hoped the flowers would be more like a muted orange or light rust. They are actually a dark rust outline with a dark mustard interior. Overall, the color combination works, but I wish the flower shades were as soft as the border. Expect to vacuum, too. There is initial shedding as one should expect with wool.. Joan. Stony Brook, NY. Wed Sep 09 2026
