This is a pretty light fixture (mine is a satin black) but complicated to put together a bit. That’s okay really but it’s just not an “unbox and hang” kind of fixture and because it’s large, and extra set of hands is nice. That said, it is unique and can lend to a variety of home styles. Keep in mind your bulbs are bare, candelabra base with no shade. You’ll want to choose a decorative bulb (more expensive) that is warmer so that it’s not blinding. That means this fixture should be more of an accent than primary lighting since that will look too harsh and have too many shadows. It’s lightweight which makes hanging easier.. Taral. Eureka, IL. Polished Chrome

This 3-light chandelier has the clean lines and hand-blown glass that are sure to add an airy touch to your coastal decor. This chandelier gives off room-filling ambient light from three standard 60W bulbs (sold separately). Plus, it's dimmable for that just-right dinnertime ambience in your kitchen. It hangs from an adjustable chain that works with sloped ceilings, so it's sure to fit right in with your home.

Nice chandelier for the price. The wiring is not pre-threaded through the chain, so you have to do that manually. (Time-consuming and tedious.) You also have to remember to thread the wiring through all of the hardware and assembly pieces, including the threaded center mounting screw. Could be tricky for novice DIYers. (I had just installed a pre-threaded fixture prior to this, so didn't realize my mistake of not threading through the center mount thread until after I had hooked all the wires up. Had to undo and re-do.) As others have mentioned, the three glass globes are not uniform in thickness, but this isn't noticeable once the fixture is hanging. We used Edison bulbs and it looks lovely over our dining table in the breakfast area. Looking forward to installing a dimmer to make the lighting adjustable and it will be perfect.. Amy.
