This sconce is really lovely. Hard to tell from the online photos but the shade is perfect linen. Not at all cream. My picture is taken in natural light with no other artificial lighting and the linen shade is soft white (against a bright white backdrop). The gold is spot on…not too orange or too blonde. These are very beautiful lights, but I can't quite give them 5 stars because they're all slightly bent (I bought 3.) Instead of hanging straight down they bend in towards the wall a tiny bit. It's just enough to make them look off, and it's not something you can bend/adjust out. This photo is actually the least bent of the three. Also, one of my three arrived with a very thick, high quality glass shade and two arrived with very thin glass with much larger ridges. Not like what's advertised.
