I love the chair. It glides and swivels silently and effortlessly. Although the seat cushion is much firmer than I was expecting, it is a comfortable chair, and I love the recliner feature. My grandchildren love it as well. It seems to be a well made piece of furniture. The chair is beautiful and well packaged. I love the way it looks in my office; however, I thought the seat would be thicker/better padded. I'm thin person, but it feels as if I'm sinking onto a hard surface when I sit in the chair as if I were heavier. I've had the chair for only 7 days and I've had to buy a seat cushion due to the thin padding. I hoped to not have to do that.
