We ordered five of these stools. One came damaged and Birch Lane sent a new one. The cushions are a bit hard but expect will soften over time. The wood is a dark walnut stain which is what we wanted. The upholstery is beige with dark gray "flecks". The nylon protectors on the bottom of the legs really grab on our wood floor and make it difficult to move the stools. Received in a very timely manner and was packaged perfectly. Is made very well and the back cushion is perfect for the curve in my back. The color is a grayish and perfect for my area. Very Pleased!! I wanted to add to my review after having my family over and our using this stool. From my husband to 3 of my grandchildren ages 14 to 6.
