Designed with an oak cradle frame that holds the tabletop above with exposed joint details on the shelf and legs below for a benchmade look and feel. Crafted from oak with iron accents.
It’s a substantial piece of furniture. I like the color and I like the dimensions. I wish that it had come in one piece and not had to be put together, but I’m sure it was too big to ship. My only other qualm is the drawers… They’re not soft close and you have to push them in and then give them another hard push to get them to close completely. Amazing, solid farmhouse-style island. The crates are spacious and the drawers although short are handy as well. The bottom rack is also full of space even though it's only half of the island to make room for seating on the other side. It's very heavy but super movable with the wheels. The hooks and towel rack on the side are also a bonus! It's a beautiful antique white-washed wood color. It's rustic and beautiful. Well worth it.
