This dresser is a good quality in terms of the material, finish, weight and hardware. The grass cloth finish on the drawer fronts is fine if you like that style. I wish they had the wood-grain drawer fronts so that it matched perfectly with my six drawer dresser. The collar and hardware is identical though so it works. Again one would expect at this price point to have soft-close drawers. You need to give these drawers a good push into place so that they are flush with the others.. Good drawer space. The Lana Chest is a beautiful piece of furniture. It's the perfect size, and it is versatile in ways it can be used. It is solid and sturdy, the blue is gorgeous, and the door pulls are the perfect accent. It could be used in an entrance way, a bedroom, a living room, dining room or family room. It could be used for mail and keys, blankets/throws, games, sweaters, dishes, so many possibilities. It is worth the price. Don’t know why any vendor would use FedEX! They’re God awful. You can never reach anyone & when you finally do they are outside of our country & completely unable to help. They read from a scrip. So frustrating! The cabinet weighs 80 pounds so I had to hire a handyman to bring it to my house. $75 dollars later I ended up canceling a pretty dresser I ordered because I don’t trust FedEx to deliver to my house. I am mostly pleased with these, considering the price. They arrived in perfect condition and look exactly as pictured. They blend well with the other wood colors and style in my living room. However I had hoped the wood would look more like real oak. The white glaze is much heavier than you can see on the photo, and it still retains a very strong smell. The white glaze is overdone, in my opinion, and makes the piece look like really fake wood, which I guess it is. I kind of wished I had ordered the very similar bookshelves without a back (made by a different manufacturer) because it doesnt say it has the glaze and also says it is made of oak and rubber wood. But those were each 100 more so I went with these.Whereas these are mostly engineered wood I believe. Once the smell wears away, Im sure Ill be happier with them.. Carol. Longboat Key, FL. The chair is beautiful and well packaged. I love the way it looks in my office; however, I thought the seat would be thicker/better padded. I'm thin person, but it feels as if I'm sinking onto a hard surface when I sit in the chair as if I were heavier. I've had the chair for only 7 days and I've had to buy a seat cushion due to the thin padding. I hoped to not have to do that.
