The Lana Chest is a beautiful piece of furniture. It's the perfect size, and it is versatile in ways it can be used. I am mostly pleased with these, considering the price. They arrived in perfect condition and look exactly as pictured. They blend well with the other wood colors and style in my living room. However I had hoped the wood would look more like real oak. The white glaze is much heavier than you can see on the photo, and it still retains a very strong smell. The white glaze is overdone, in my opinion, and makes the piece look like really fake wood, which I guess it is. I kind of wished I had ordered the very similar bookshelves without a back (made by a different manufacturer) because it doesnt say it has the glaze and also says it is made of oak and rubber wood. This dresser is a good quality in terms of the material, finish, weight and hardware. The grass cloth finish on the drawer fronts is fine if you like that style. I wish they had the wood-grain drawer fronts so that it matched perfectly with my six drawer dresser. The collar and hardware is identical though so it works. Again one would expect at this price point to have soft-close drawers. You need to give these drawers a good push into place so that they are flush with the others.. Good drawer space. Loved finding bookcases this tall (94”) and wide (40”) and was able to make my office/studio wall look like a built-in. Lucky to find wood finish close to other elements we were using. While we don’t really need the ladder function, the rod detail makes the unit look unique and we didn’t purchase a ladder. After months of searching for the perfect dresser, I finally found this one. I had been wanting this dresser for so long, but it was quite expensive. However, I’ve had positive experiences with Wayfair in the past, so I decided to take the plunge and make the purchase during a sale. This dresser is well-made and incredibly heavy, which is a testament to its quality. The wood has a beautiful, inviting aroma, and the overall design is stunning. It truly exceeded my expectations. Of course, it’s not without its imperfections. There are a few knots and blemishes throughout the wood, but I find these features to be unique and add to the dresser’s charm. I don’t mind them at all they’re actually what I love most about it. The delivery was prompt, and the dresser was assembled and placed in my chosen room without any additional cost. The price was also significantly lower than other retailers, and the delivery team was respectful and professional throughout the process.
