The coverlet is lovely. It had several spots with excess attached thread that I cut loose. I hope it doesn’t cause the coverlet to separate when washed. My biggest disappointment was that pillow shams did not arrive with the coverlet as I had expected. The photo in the ad showed it as a set. I made the mistake of assuming that’s what was included in the price. In their defense though it states only ‘coverlet.’ I allowed my eyes to deceive me. Don’t make that mistake. The shams are additional cost of over $41 EACH. They aren’t sold in pairs. Be sure to read carefully. We have a mattress that is not very thick. The queen coverlet drags the floor. It would be fine for a regular mattress and box spring. I ordered King shams because they do not offer queen size. Why is that?? Only king and double. Hopefully the King shams won’t look ridiculous. You can see the white part over my pillows. That is the top end of the coverlet so if you want to skip the shams it’s okay. I didn’t like the blankness of the sold white edge though.. Mona. This duvet caught my eye because of the neutral color and the textured weave look. I was looking for something calming for my room after many years of having duvets that had prints that were dated or I just got tired of the look. The selling point for me was that it has an eight point tie down structure for the insert. I have struggled with other inserts that did not have this feature, and only four corners. The cover never stayed in place and would bunch at the bottom. So I also ordered an insert to go along with the duvet. We are completely satisfied with the feel and the look. It looks big and fluffy, but it doesn’t feel overbearing, and it has the right fluffiness to it along with a cool comfort feel. Beautiful and just the color I needed. Not too gray and not too taupe. Also after extensive searching, many bad buys, it finally fits a king size bed. It doesn’t drag the ground but we are both comfortably covered without fighting over the coverlet.
