King Coverlet

This oversized quilt features a geometric medallion pattern that reminds us of early American designs, so it's just right for your relaxed traditional bedroom. It's crafted from 100% cotton with well-made touches like matelassé stitching and a multitiered border of different floral patterns. Its blue, ivory, and gray hues are sure to fit right in with your current decor. This bedspread has a large silhouette with scalloped edges that are made to drape casually on the floor. Best of all, this coverlet is machine washable, so it's a low-maintenance choice for everyday – and every night.

The coverlet is lovely. It had several spots with excess attached thread that I cut loose. I hope it doesn’t cause the coverlet to separate when washed. My biggest disappointment was that pillow shams did not arrive with the coverlet as I had expected. The photo in the ad showed it as a set. I made the mistake of assuming that’s what was included in the price. In their defense though it states only ‘coverlet.’ I allowed my eyes to deceive me. Don’t make that mistake. The shams are additional cost of over $41 EACH. They aren’t sold in pairs. Be sure to read carefully. We have a mattress that is not very thick. The queen coverlet drags the floor. It would be fine for a regular mattress and box spring. I ordered King shams because they do not offer queen size. Why is that?? Only king and double. Hopefully the King shams won’t look ridiculous. You can see the white part over my pillows. That is the top end of the coverlet so if you want to skip the shams it’s okay. I didn’t like the blankness of the sold white edge though.. Mona. Drift off to dreamland with this down alternative comforter, designed to keep you cozy all year round. Filled with microfiber and wrapped in a 100% cotton sateen cover, it offers a soft, breathable, and hypoallergenic option for a sneeze-free night's sleep. The sewn-through box stitch construction ensures the fill stays evenly distributed, so you won't have to worry about any shifting or bunching. Plus, with duvet corner ties, you can easily secure it within your favorite cover. Machine washable for easy care, this comforter is all about quality comfort and timeless style.

I certainly wouldn’t call it sateen, and it got a tiny bit pilled in the dryer. But it’s still very soft, warm, and has a very comforting weight to it. I love that the exterior is 100% cotton and Thinsulate can’t be beat. I will most likely get a cover for this to preserve it but right now I’m using it on its own and it works great.. Emily.
