However, I’ve had positive experiences with Wayfair in the past, so I decided to take the plunge and make the purchase during a sale. This dresser is well-made and incredibly heavy, which is a testament to its quality. The wood has a beautiful, inviting aroma, and the overall design is stunning. It truly exceeded my expectations. Of course, it’s not without its imperfections. There are a few knots and blemishes throughout the wood, but I find these features to be unique and add to the dresser’s charm. I don’t mind them at all they’re actually what I love most about it. The delivery was prompt, and the dresser was assembled and placed in my chosen room without any additional cost. The price was also significantly lower than other retailers, and the delivery team was respectful and professional throughout the process. The chest of drawers is very nice looking. It is a heavy piece of furniture, but the drawers arent as sturdy as I thought they should be. I can feel them wobble a bit when opening. It seems that all furniture is like this these days. The bottom drawer has a cedar lining, and the top drawer contains a velvet lining. I am happy with the purchase, but I do wish the drawers were more stable. The delivery of this piece of furniture went well, although another piece was damaged. Birch Lane took care of that situation. I must have been mistaken by thinking the purchase included white glove delivery, but it was only delivered to the room, not unpacked. Our 5-drawer vertical dresser mixes traditional elements with farmhouse character. I loved this dresser when I saw it. The first time it was delivered it came totally assembled and completely damaged. I was told I had to keep it or give it away but they sent me a second one. I received the second and it was shipped using a different company this time and they did so much better! The guys that delivered it even helped me up the stairs with it! I am so happy with it. I would say it’s built pretty well and looks great! I’ll have to list the other damaged one for free and hope someone will haul it out of here.
