The chest of drawers is very nice looking. It is a heavy piece of furniture, but the drawers arent as sturdy as I thought they should be. I can feel them wobble a bit when opening. It seems that all furniture is like this these days. The bottom drawer has a cedar lining, and the top drawer contains a velvet lining. I am happy with the purchase, but I do wish the drawers were more stable. The delivery of this piece of furniture went well, although another piece was damaged. Birch Lane took care of that situation. I must have been mistaken by thinking the purchase included white glove delivery, but it was only delivered to the room, not unpacked. Overall, well built and pretty nice construction over your normal, neighborhood, furniture store. The drawers are solid and the soft close is nice. One weird construction flaw exists, as can be seen in the picture. A weird orange hue and a gouge on one of the sides of a drawer.
