The chest of drawers is very nice looking. It is a heavy piece of furniture, but the drawers arent as sturdy as I thought they should be. I can feel them wobble a bit when opening. It seems that all furniture is like this these days. The bottom drawer has a cedar lining, and the top drawer contains a velvet lining. I am happy with the purchase, but I do wish the drawers were more stable. The delivery of this piece of furniture went well, although another piece was damaged. Birch Lane took care of that situation. I must have been mistaken by thinking the purchase included white glove delivery, but it was only delivered to the room, not unpacked. Our 5-drawer vertical dresser mixes traditional elements with farmhouse character. I loved this dresser when I saw it. The first time it was delivered it came totally assembled and completely damaged. I was told I had to keep it or give it away but they sent me a second one. I received the second and it was shipped using a different company this time and they did so much better! The guys that delivered it even helped me up the stairs with it! I am so happy with it. I would say it’s built pretty well and looks great! I’ll have to list the other damaged one for free and hope someone will haul it out of here. Drawers have dividers built in which were a nice surprise. I haven't tried removing them but I think you can. Overall we are happy with the furniture.
