While I was struggling to put fairy lights on my cut tree, it tipped over, and all the lights became impossibly tangled. I was so frustrated that I began searching for an artificial tree. Foe the 1st time ever, I am not getting a real tree this year. So, I wanted a tree with just the right amount of spacing between the branches, as I like to see a little bit of trunk on my real trees. 5 stars mistake!!!! 1 star or less. Made mistake reviewing prior to setup attempt to participate in sweepstakes for Review!!! Big Mistake!!! Awful in every way. It is nearly impossible to unwrap light cords (as listed in instructions). Gloves included are useless. I have scratches on my hands and up both forearms from “trying” to unwrap cords completely tied around each section of the tree. Instructions - “tree sections may be wrapped in electric cords, unwrap cords first to begin setting up tree. That is as far as I made it! The simple response is “Impossible to do”. In addition, the tree branches look nothing like a tree. The material looks exactly like what it is plastic. I have had beautiful artificial trees in the past and this is not one of them!!! Looks very cute and the size is perfect for a small apartment (I got the 5'). It wasn't too difficult to fluff the branches out but the placement of the light seem pretty random and not well-thought it. There are some patches with no lights and some with excess lights. This tree did not disappoint. It is absolutely stunning. It took less than 20 minutes to assemble out of the box. Since it is a flocked tree, there will be white residue on the surface surrounding it, but I noticed that this diminished over time, and can easily be cleaned up with a swiffer dry cloth. The only thing that could possibly make this a better tree would be “in trunk channel lighting” but the pieces attach easily and the lights connect with two or three little prongs. The tree needs to be fluffed. You can do moderate fluffing for a more realistic look or super fluffing for a fuller look. it takes a lot of fluffing to get this tree looking good. there are no branches close to the center as well as most do not have any greenery around the center, so pulling and prodding and moving the lights around to make it look fuller inside was a chore.
