This is my first artificial tree. It's pretty, but disappointed in how bright the lights are. The photos show it to be a soft white, but they're almost a blinding white light. Ultimately I'm very pleasesd with my purchase. It does require a LOT of fluffing. I spent what felt like an hour separating the branches and got sick of doing it while there are still some huge gaps. Perhaps someone with more patience and meticulousness would do better. Even with the gaps, it looks really full. The "trunk" is covered with needle-like material so that helps a lot. The "needles" are very realistic. The tips of the branches are made of a different material and look very life-like. Very easy to set up. Do yourself a favor and actually measure the area you will use for the tree. My tree is too tall for my angel, and even with the back half up against a wall with the branches still folded up, I can't use that side of my couch, but that's on me. Love the tree. Looks beautiful. Putting the tree together was easy. Trying to figure out the plugs for the lights to work together needs improvement. By the time I hooked all the lights together I had scratches all over my arms & broke out with rashes where I had been scratched up. My tree also( a guess due to the height) had to be plug into the wall receptacle with two different plugs and you can’t plug one plug into the back of the other plug to save room on the wall receptacle. The plugs need to be longer and it would be nice if there was a switch to shut the lights off without having to unplug both plugs from the wall. Other than those improvements needed. Does NOT look like pictures. Tree requires all branches to be separated and fluffed and the trunk was still extremely visible. Stand was cheap and tree felt flimsy in it. So many plugs and cords to be connected and all very visible. To be fair, tihe color of the needles were very realistic, and the lights were a perfect color and the tree was very well lit. Unfortunately, the tree had to to go back. Not worth the time needed to try and make it appealing. And I had to pay $90 to return it to All Modern. That should be a cost they automatically absorb.
