Ultimately I'm very pleasesd with my purchase. It does require a LOT of fluffing. I spent what felt like an hour separating the branches and got sick of doing it while there are still some huge gaps. Perhaps someone with more patience and meticulousness would do better. Even with the gaps, it looks really full. The "trunk" is covered with needle-like material so that helps a lot. The "needles" are very realistic. The tips of the branches are made of a different material and look very life-like. Very easy to set up. Do yourself a favor and actually measure the area you will use for the tree. My tree is too tall for my angel, and even with the back half up against a wall with the branches still folded up, I can't use that side of my couch, but that's on me. At first, I was very disappointed that only the tips looks like real pine branches, the rest of the branch is the inexpensive looking cut plastic that’s commonly found in low budget trees. 5 stars mistake!!!! 1 star or less. Made mistake reviewing prior to setup attempt to participate in sweepstakes for Review!!! Big Mistake!!! Awful in every way. It is nearly impossible to unwrap light cords (as listed in instructions). Gloves included are useless. I have scratches on my hands and up both forearms from “trying” to unwrap cords completely tied around each section of the tree. Instructions - “tree sections may be wrapped in electric cords, unwrap cords first to begin setting up tree. That is as far as I made it! The simple response is “Impossible to do”. In addition, the tree branches look nothing like a tree. The material looks exactly like what it is plastic. I have had beautiful artificial trees in the past and this is not one of them!!! it takes a lot of fluffing to get this tree looking good. there are no branches close to the center as well as most do not have any greenery around the center, so pulling and prodding and moving the lights around to make it look fuller inside was a chore.
