5 stars mistake!!!! 1 star or less. Made mistake reviewing prior to setup attempt to participate in sweepstakes for Review!!! Big Mistake!!! Awful in every way. It is nearly impossible to unwrap light cords (as listed in instructions). Gloves included are useless. I have scratches on my hands and up both forearms from “trying” to unwrap cords completely tied around each section of the tree. Instructions - “tree sections may be wrapped in electric cords, unwrap cords first to begin setting up tree. That is as far as I made it! The simple response is “Impossible to do”. In addition, the tree branches look nothing like a tree. The material looks exactly like what it is plastic. I have had beautiful artificial trees in the past and this is not one of them!!! 8.5 height is perfect for our 9 foot ceilings. Just put it up. Used gloves to fluff and took some time, but expected with fake trees. We need to arrange the lights a little more but happy with the purchase. I understand someone said that it's low to the ground, which it is, but this doesn't really bother me. Love the tree. Looks beautiful. Putting the tree together was easy. Trying to figure out the plugs for the lights to work together needs improvement. By the time I hooked all the lights together I had scratches all over my arms & broke out with rashes where I had been scratched up. My tree also( a guess due to the height) had to be plug into the wall receptacle with two different plugs and you can’t plug one plug into the back of the other plug to save room on the wall receptacle. The plugs need to be longer and it would be nice if there was a switch to shut the lights off without having to unplug both plugs from the wall. Other than those improvements needed. Absolutely stunning tree. I had professional installation through Angi services. The tree came pre lit with each sections already wired. So the installer only had to piece together each section and plug in the main cord. I will say, the instructions did not include anything about the tree have a steelbraided cable and trim buckle system that attaches to the base via hooks. So that was a bit confusing. The actual pictures and instructions showed each section and how to piece together but nothing about the cable system that held the tree tight and upright. So I did take that off then realized my tree was swaying and figured out that was to help stabilize it so I had to hire additional help to comeback and reinstall the cable system on tree. Hence the lack of stars. It is very difficult to find a box to put the tree in after taking it down. So do consider that prior to purchasing 14’ tree. Overall the tree was beautiful. Was delivered one week ahead of schedule! So that is a 5 star situation. We just put it up and that was very easy. It has a ton of lights. They are a soft gold white vs incandescent soft white. That took me a minute to adjust but I like it already. We bought this tree because our ornaments need to be hung “in” a tree vs. “on” a tree. This tree will allow for that. But if you are used to a traditional looking tree where you can’t see the poletrunk then this may take you by surprise. For us, this is just the perfect look.
