8.5 height is perfect for our 9 foot ceilings. Just put it up. Used gloves to fluff and took some time, but expected with fake trees. At first, I was very disappointed that only the tips looks like real pine branches, the rest of the branch is the inexpensive looking cut plastic that’s commonly found in low budget trees. This is an absolutely gorgeous tree. We had a real tree that dried out super fast despite daily watering and I decided to purchase an unlit artificial tree so I could change up the lights from year to you. Looks very cute and the size is perfect for a small apartment (I got the 5'). It wasn't too difficult to fluff the branches out but the placement of the light seem pretty random and not well-thought it. There are some patches with no lights and some with excess lights. 5 stars mistake!!!! 1 star or less. Made mistake reviewing prior to setup attempt to participate in sweepstakes for Review!!! Big Mistake!!! Awful in every way. It is nearly impossible to unwrap light cords (as listed in instructions). Gloves included are useless. I have scratches on my hands and up both forearms from “trying” to unwrap cords completely tied around each section of the tree. Instructions - “tree sections may be wrapped in electric cords, unwrap cords first to begin setting up tree. That is as far as I made it! The simple response is “Impossible to do”. In addition, the tree branches look nothing like a tree. The material looks exactly like what it is plastic. I have had beautiful artificial trees in the past and this is not one of them!!! it takes a lot of fluffing to get this tree looking good. there are no branches close to the center as well as most do not have any greenery around the center, so pulling and prodding and moving the lights around to make it look fuller inside was a chore. Also, there is no pug for a tree topper, so you have to get an extension code to make that work. The price those is what made me no return the tree.. Joy. Wed Dec 17 2025
