Thought this tree would be perfect; however, when we opened the package we were SHOCKED to see multiple warnings about how this tree contains Diphthalate (DEHP). DEHP is a chemical that is known to cause birth defects and some cancers. We’re horrified. I notice now that there is a very small and easily missed warning in the product details section. The fact that this tree contains DEHP should be much more apparent when ordering and it’s irresponsible that it isn’t. Will be returning, obviously. Would never have bought it if we knew it had harmful chemicals that lead to birth defects and cancer. Wayfair, you need to call out the DEHP more than this. I’m sure I’m not the only one sending the tree back.
