I waited to write a review for this couch to see if it would hold up to 2 grandchildren jumping on it, especially my 6-year-old. This couch is fantastic. I absolutely had to get it slipcovered, in 100 cotton fabric, because of the same reason - - Grandchildren. I love this sofa with chaise and the fabric and color were exactly as I hoped for. I haven't provided a 5 star review only because it is still quite wrinkled from being in the packaging and the edges are a bit buckled. I am hoping it will smooth out, but may have to steam it. This couch is massive and well-built. I would have loved to stage it in my remodeled basement but it’s not quite completed. Linen fabric is slightly off-white. More white than cream. Extremely solid and heavy. The ottoman is huge! Stitching is professional. Slipcover-style… looks like it will come off if I need to spot clean. Cushions have a nice loft, not hard but not soft enough to leave a seat print. Super deep seats, enough depth to spoon your partner in a bent- knee position. It’s incredibly comfortable. Very long. This couch is the bomb! It's so comfortable.....and it looks great. Tailored without being stuffy/sterile (like the living room furniture you were not allowed to sit on as a kid). It was a little tricky to connect the pieces - metal connectors have to be rotated to connect - and while we bought it for the "option" to rearrange the pieces.....yeah probably will never disconnect to move them around. Really comfortable - the midnight bayou is a stunning navy color. The slipcovers are well fitted and look great. Updated after 6 weeks- the cushions compress a pretty significant amount leaving you sitting about 15 inches off the floor rather than the 18 in the description. It’s very comfortable - I thought to swap out the legs but unfortunately unlike other sofas of this price the legs are nailed in and not an easy swap. This is the best couch that I have ever purchased. It is absolutely tremendous, especially the chaise lounge, and extremely comfortable.
