We bought this piece in addition to the damien dresser. Found it to be pretty big but my husband who is taller than me (I'm 5'3), really likes it. Drawers have dividers built in which were a nice surprise. I haven't tried removing them but I think you can. Overall we are happy with the furniture. The chest of drawers is very nice looking. It is a heavy piece of furniture, but the drawers arent as sturdy as I thought they should be. I can feel them wobble a bit when opening. It seems that all furniture is like this these days. The bottom drawer has a cedar lining, and the top drawer contains a velvet lining. I am happy with the purchase, but I do wish the drawers were more stable. The delivery of this piece of furniture went well, although another piece was damaged. Birch Lane took care of that situation. I must have been mistaken by thinking the purchase included white glove delivery, but it was only delivered to the room, not unpacked.
