Blatant, shameless lie. This is NOT solid wood. We went shopping for a SOLID WOOD changing table and thought we had found a deal - nope, it's just the most shameless false advertising. The shelves are cheap, flimsy particle board. If that was the only problem, maybe I would have thought "you get what you pay for", but there's more: the restraints are the cheapest frayed nylon straps I have ever seen, and the bottom cross-beam appears to be damaged - the bolt will not screw in straight, preventing the piece from lying flush with the frame. I have never seen such a lousy piece of furniture. I spent an hour putting it together until I lost my patience with the shoddy quality and I will never get that time back.. Anonymous.
