Ultimately I'm very pleasesd with my purchase. It does require a LOT of fluffing. I spent what felt like an hour separating the branches and got sick of doing it while there are still some huge gaps. Perhaps someone with more patience and meticulousness would do better. Even with the gaps, it looks really full. The "trunk" is covered with needle-like material so that helps a lot. The "needles" are very realistic. The tips of the branches are made of a different material and look very life-like. Very easy to set up. Do yourself a favor and actually measure the area you will use for the tree. My tree is too tall for my angel, and even with the back half up against a wall with the branches still folded up, I can't use that side of my couch, but that's on me.
