Admittedly, I have only had the chair assembled for a day, but the assembly was relatively effortless, and it took less than a half hour. The instructions were clear enough that assembly was just a matter of how fast that I wanted to put it together. In terms of look and feel. They seem well constructed. While the wood may not have been as thick as the ones these chairs will replace, I have no concerns about it failing. It seems like it should be able to support someone comfortably well above 200 pounds. My chairs are kept out of the sun, but I live in a very humid part of the country, so I cannot say how well they will handle the humidity. I may put a marine sealant on it, but I need to do some testing on hidden parts of the chair. First off, I own many polywood chairs and items and their products are top notch. Quality is superb. This Adirondack chair is the same. Easy to assemble, looks great, functions great and excellent quality. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hardware kit was not complete and we were missing 4 of the screws.
