This is a high quality shelf and the wood grain is beautiful. It’s solid wood and you can tell it by looking. The hardware is heavy duty and the instructions are clear. You definitely want a shelf that will mount securely and give you confidence to place delicate items and this is that shelf. It might be slightly pricier than others but the quality is worth it. Besides their floating effect, our favorite feature is how this shelf set arrives preassembled and holds up to 20 lbs. each, so you should be able to display plenty of knickknacks. Just keep in mind that due to their natural knotty qualities, each piece may vary slightly.

I haven’t installed it yet but it looks super straightforward. I love this shelf. I’ll be getting more for sure. The sizes are just right for smaller spaces- I’m using mine in my bathroom. The metal is thick but not too heavy and the color gold is spot on. Looks amazing with all my gold fixtures. While I haven’t mounted it yet, the instructions are simple and straightforward. The piece is a nice high quality wood and metal finished in the perfect black. I haven’t yet mounted this shelf but it has two nicely drilled out areas hidden in the back to secure it to the wall. I would suggest finding studs since this is a heavy duty shelf. The wood is beautifully solid and I love the lil detail. It adds a unique touch and gives security to more delicate items (I love the idea of a plant hanging over the side). It’s smooth and the wood grain is beautiful. The grooves on the top will be nice for plates or pictures if one prefers. I really like this shelf-it will go with traditional or modern design well..
