Inspired by a property of the same name in Gascony, France and an antique pattern from York’s archives, the Rifle Paper Co. Camont print features an illustration of an 18th-century French farmhouse and the fig trees, lemon trees, animals and flowers of it’s pastoral grounds.

Inspired by the work of early 20th-century modern artists, the print is complete with illustrated animals roaming through a forest of stylized flowers and trees.

This paper is whimsical and dramatic and fun. I gave it 4 starts because in real life somehow the animals in out stood out more than the foliage. If that is what you’re after, that’s great! With the heavier emphasis on the critters, I found it to be a little more appropriate for a kids space. What I recommend anytime is to get the samples, and this was a great of why.
