The finish on the mirror looks painted and not the finished look I was expecting. It’s not for a modern or contemporary home but more tropical decor. The photo on the website is misleading is you’re looking for a mirror considering the cost.

Gorgeous mirror! It's quite heavy, so be sure it's properly hung. I ordered the white, and it does appear painted versus a bleached fiber or natural look. It's still very lovely and I like that it's dimensional and a substantial size.
