Maddox Jewelry Armoire with Mirror

I ordered this armoire in oak. The product I received looked like a bird had evacuated its bowels on it in transit. When chatting with the representative, they told me the product was correct and was a variation of the product color. When reviewing the website, there are a few pictures with slight variations, but nothing this extreme. Birch needs to include the word EXTREME when describing possible color variations. This was a Christmas present that the recipient picked out and, unfortunately, will not receive.

The box arrived with both ends open. I took the item the rest of the way out and removed all the styrofoam and wrapping to find that the back was detached from the chest ; the wood was severely chipped ; the top part where you are suppose to attached the mirror was broken (completely crooked kind of broken); and when I read the return policy it says it has to be packed the way it came and in the original box. What a joke ! How I am i able to see what it looks like unless I take it off?

This piece is just as pictured, gorgeous and highly functional in its design. It arrived so fast. The FedEx delivery man brought it in my door for me. The armoire was well packed to protect it. I kept losing expensive rings bc I had my jewelry everywhere, in bags and boxes. I bought this to have a home for everything and be easily accessible. Would make a stunning gift for any gal.
