Flat Pile Green Rugs

The Orchard Collection by Erin Gates is inspired by traditional Indian block and ikat patterns. Each rug is hand-woven with jute and wool fibers, giving them impeccable quality and natural base coloring due to the organic quality of the jute. Bring warmth into any space with the simple sophistication this collection's designs provide.

If you are not familiar with jute rugs please note that they are a natural fiber that does shed quite a bit. I do find that the color is a little bit darker than what was shown in the stock photos, but that was OK for my use. The rug came nicely, rolled up and packaged, and it was very easy to lay out, and it laid flat very quickly. Hayley. Mission Hills, CA. Sat Sep 05 2026

This is the second rug that I have gotten from Birch Lane that I love! I got it in a runner for our kitchen and it matches perfectly. I will be purchasing some padding for under it since we have it on hard wood floors. We are slowly revamping our house because it's pretty bare, but this rug contributed a lot of texture and beauty!. It’s a little grayer that I thought it would be, and it isn’t woven as tightly as I thought it would be. But overall I like it and will keep it.. Traci. Salt Lake City, UT. Sun Nov 30 2025

This handmade area rug rolls out a rustic aesthetic to set the stage for your modern farmhouse space. It's hand-woven from jute/sisal that provides natural cushioning, stain resistance, and durability. The design features a knitted pattern in hues of green – it reminds us of organic grasscloth for a perfect country look and feel. We recommend pairing it with a rug pad for cushioning and preventing slipping and sliding underfoot (sold separately). Indoor use only.

Rug is absolutely beautiful in person. Nice texture and a very natural look. The green is really a grass green-not a deep forest or a sage feel. Has lovely variation and lays nice and flat. Definitely smells like natural fiber and it’s kinda strong but will likely dissipate.. Taral. Eureka, IL. Sat Feb 07 2026

This rug was exactly as pictured and works well for my son’s dorm room. It’s a thin but tightly woven rug, nice quality and remains flat (doesn’t curl up at edges). Color is accurate to photo. My son uses the rug to help cover a cord and it still lies flat.. Lara. San Francisco, CA. Sun Oct 05 2025
