This handmade area rug has a nubby texture that adds warmth and character to any living room or bedroom floor. It's handwoven in India from 100% jute/sisal, so it's sure to stand up to heavy foot traffic or the occasional knocked-over cup. This rug comes in the size of your choice, so you can choose which one works best for your home. Just keep in mind that even though it's a sturdy rug, it performs best when paired with a rug pad to prevent shifting and sliding.

If you are not familiar with jute rugs please note that they are a natural fiber that does shed quite a bit. I do find that the color is a little bit darker than what was shown in the stock photos, but that was OK for my use. The rug came nicely, rolled up and packaged, and it was very easy to lay out, and it laid flat very quickly. Hayley. Mission Hills, CA. Sat Sep 05 2026

I was surprised by how light the rug is overall, both in color and construction. It's beautiful but with 3 active dogs, I'm thinking that it won't last me as long as I would have hoped. Beautiful though, looks really good. It stretches a lot, not super tightly woven. It definitely needs a rug pad.. Heather Ann. Longmont, CO. Sun Jul 19 2026

I purchased the 3'6 x 5'6 size, and it goes perfectly with my new bedding. The rug was very well packaged and protected from getting wet or damaged. May I suggest that when you receive it, you unroll it and re-roll it in the opposite direction for a brief time so that when you place it, the corners will lay perfectly flat. Also, you will need a rug pad especially if you will not be placing furniture on top of it.. E.l.. Miami, FL. Sun Jul 06 2025

Traditional with a modern twist, this stunning piece is the perfect foundation for any room! Expertly constructed by hand in India by skilled artisans, a combination of different weaves creates a unique high/low texture. Using the timeless (and naturally neutral) jute as the base material, it features colorful cotton accents woven throughout bringing just the right pop of color to this stylish and classic piece.

Perfect for my coastal home. I have a small ocean view, and wanted something for the back room that picked up the blue ocean and sky hues, and this is spot-on. The product photos here on the website are absolutely accurate-probably more so than my photos, due to lighting issues. The rug arrived on time, and is exactly as pictured. Its more of a jute than a soft rag-rug type. The channels are sturdy, which I like. (feels like a foot massage, lol) I put a cushy felt pad underneath to give it a little more oomph. It was a little stinky on arrival, as many manufactured products wrapped in plastic are, so I put a fan on it for a bit and let it air out-no big deal at all. I got just what I was looking for an incredible price. (this is the 8 x 10 blue/beige rug). Susan. Cayucos, CA. Tue Jul 11 2023

Love this rug! Bought it as an underlay for my woven rope laundry baskets, to keep them clean. Once I unwrapped it and set it out on the floor, I decided that it looks so nice on it's own, I didn't want to cover it up. Perfect color for my room too!
