This oriental rug draws on Persian design motifs for inspiration. Power-loomed from stain-resistant polypropylene, it features three medallions surrounded by a wide border in hues of copper and orange. The 0.25” pile height gives it some cushioning, so it’s a great choice for rooms where you like to relax and feel comfortable – think your den or bedroom. To care for this rug, vacuum without a beater bar or rotating brush and spot clean with water and mild detergent. We recommend rolling it out over a pad to prevent shifting.
It's not exactly as I thought it would be, but rugs rarely are! Rugs are something you should buy in person. Not everyone has that option though and, thankfully, Wayfair does a really good job of portraying the rugs close to real life! I wanted something "warm tone" and was hoping for more of the rust/salmon color. It does have a lot of that color, but it also has quite a bit of light, turquoise blue so it doesn't give the "warm, grounding" presence I hoped for. This rug has more of a bohemian, whimsical, airy, light feel to it. It does not give a solid, anchoring or grounding feel to a room. The rug is lighter from some angles and almost shiny, so flipping it around gives a different impression. It is still very beautiful and I'm very happy with it though! There is another rug very similar to this one (same brand) and it has a rectangle pattern and appears to have more of the pink/rust/salmon color. If you're looking for something to have more of that warm color, this one is good but I might look at the other rug in this line with the rectangle pattern. It's a good quality rug for the price range. It's on the medium to thinner side compared to other rugs I have, but I prefer that. You can vacuum this rug and have cats without worrying about damage.
