This is such a pretty rug. Very soft, but thin so you will need a pad underneath. I actually ordered mine a little too small accidentally but I am going to layer it over a plain jute rug. It’s definitely a navy color and I would say a little muted in color (not a super dark blue). And to me it has slight purple undertones. (My opinion). We are using it in a kids art area.. Melody. But its moderate, 0.47'' pile height also keeps it nice and inviting for bare feet.

Great rug, seems like high quality and thankfully it doesn’t shed (so far) or have any new rug smell. However, the color is not at all what I expected. It’s very TEAL! I can’t be bothered sending it back, and I don’t hate it, just know there are heavy bits of teal throughout.. Genevieve. Seattle, WA. Thu Nov 04 2021

In the highland headwaters of the Delaware River in the Catskill mountains, the town of Bovina is known for its centuries-old farmhouses. Designed in collaboration with renowned lifestyle editor Newell Turner, the Nine Stars Coverlet rug draws on this sense of place to envision a slower, more nature-based way of living. A skilled artisan hand-knotted this rug, resulting in banded ends that vary slightly—making each piece unique.

Beautiful, high-quality rug. Colors are a bit more muted than they appear in the online pictures -- what appears to be the white pattern is actually more of a sandstone grey, and the blue is more of a medium denim/ocean blue. The pattern has the perfect level of presence and interest without being loud or overwhelming. The rug reads like a "neutral tone with interest" in the room. The grey on the edges in the photo isn't part of the rug, it's part of the rug pad that we haven't yet cut down to size. Photo was taken in low lighting, so it's not the best representation of the colors.. Adina. NJ. Mon Sep 22 2025
