This is such a pretty rug. Very soft, but thin so you will need a pad underneath. I actually ordered mine a little too small accidentally but I am going to layer it over a plain jute rug. It’s definitely a navy color and I would say a little muted in color (not a super dark blue). And to me it has slight purple undertones. (My opinion). We are using it in a kids art area.. Melody. Perfect for my coastal home. I have a small ocean view, and wanted something for the back room that picked up the blue ocean and sky hues, and this is spot-on. The product photos here on the website are absolutely accurate-probably more so than my photos, due to lighting issues. The rug arrived on time, and is exactly as pictured. Its more of a jute than a soft rag-rug type. The channels are sturdy, which I like. (feels like a foot massage, lol) I put a cushy felt pad underneath to give it a little more oomph. It was a little stinky on arrival, as many manufactured products wrapped in plastic are, so I put a fan on it for a bit and let it air out-no big deal at all. I got just what I was looking for an incredible price. (this is the 8 x 10 blue/beige rug). Susan. Cayucos, CA. Tue Jul 11 2023
