If you are not familiar with jute rugs please note that they are a natural fiber that does shed quite a bit. I do find that the color is a little bit darker than what was shown in the stock photos, but that was OK for my use. This is such a pretty rug. Very soft, but thin so you will need a pad underneath. I actually ordered mine a little too small accidentally but I am going to layer it over a plain jute rug. I purchased the 3'6 x 5'6 size, and it goes perfectly with my new bedding. The rug was very well packaged and protected from getting wet or damaged. May I suggest that when you receive it, you unroll it and re-roll it in the opposite direction for a brief time so that when you place it, the corners will lay perfectly flat. Also, you will need a rug pad especially if you will not be placing furniture on top of it.. E.l.. Miami, FL. Sun Jul 06 2025
