This is a gorgeous rug for what I believe is an awesome price. In the pictures it looks like it almost has a shag to it- it doesn’t, it’s totally flat. The quasi-shag look comes from light brown specs on the rug. It’s really a pretty rug. Only gave 4 stars because I just got it and want to see how it holds up. It is also very soft. The area rug we purchased was just beautiful! We did not know we had a Birchlane store near us as we are relatively new to our area in FL. Instead we ordered it online. My husband and I are very reluctant to ever order from Wayfair again. Wayfair shipped this item & sent it to our previous home location in PA & it took many, many hours of calls to straighten out that mess. Even up until the time we received the item we were receiving confirmation emails stating the rug was shipped to our address in PA. Nevertheless, the rug is excellent quality, with vibrant colors. It was well worth the cost. We would visit a nearby Birchlane store and avoid Wayfair going further! Changing an address that wasn’t incorrect upon order should never have been this frustrating!.
