This is such a pretty rug. Very soft, but thin so you will need a pad underneath. I actually ordered mine a little too small accidentally but I am going to layer it over a plain jute rug. The loops are large and would likely get pulled up and unravel. I would say it is worth the purchase. UPDATE: It sheds like crazy!
