The greens are more greyed/blue-green (not the yellowy green of some olives). The subtle greys, whites, beiges, bits of a warm soft light blue, and mellow gold tones set off the greens beautifully. Nice scale pattern. This rug would work in countless settings and makes a nice foundation in my living room.. I've received only positive comments from family and friends. I love the Loloi rugs and this is my third one to purchase. I purchased this darker one for under the bed in the Master Bedroom and it is my favorite so far. This photo depicts after months of use in the highest traffic area. It vacuums easily and keeps very well for large dog/pet owners. This is such a pretty rug. Very soft, but thin so you will need a pad underneath. I actually ordered mine a little too small accidentally but I am going to layer it over a plain jute rug. I ordered the 8'x8' square rug. My space was a bit of a challenge because there are two areas in one room. I wanted the two spaces to be distinct. The rug really helped to pull this together. It's not as soft as I thought it would be from the photo, but it is in way hard or scratchy. You definitely don't want to use a vacuum that has roller brushes that run automatically. The loops are large and would likely get pulled up and unravel. I would say it is worth the purchase. UPDATE: It sheds like crazy!
