If you are not familiar with jute rugs please note that they are a natural fiber that does shed quite a bit. I do find that the color is a little bit darker than what was shown in the stock photos, but that was OK for my use. I really cannot overstate how exceptional this rug is. I ordered a multi-color swatch from the manufacturer before choosing a color since it’s a large purchase.
