The quality of this rug is excellent. The colors are beautiful but slightly off from the description. While it listed a pale rust, the background has a bit of rose. Also, the overall color is slightly muted (in a very nice way). I didn't want the rug overpowering the living room. Even though at first I considered returning it because I wanted a deeper rust or terra color, it's just too beautiful to return. Also, the beige border is two inches wide (slightly wider than pictured). I wouldn't call this a traditional style but more transitional. I've had several friends and family members visiting (varying ages and tastes), and they've all not only liked it but loved it. It's a keeper. Thank goodness.
