I am thrilled with my new runners. The colors in them pull the colors on the walls to bring things together nicely for me. I will need to add rug pads for more stability but I was sort of expecting that. These runners are thick and so soft under the feet. They came rolled and laid flat right out of the packaging. I ordered the 8'x8' square rug. My space was a bit of a challenge because there are two areas in one room. I wanted the two spaces to be distinct. The rug really helped to pull this together. It's not as soft as I thought it would be from the photo, but it is in way hard or scratchy. You definitely don't want to use a vacuum that has roller brushes that run automatically. The loops are large and would likely get pulled up and unravel. I would say it is worth the purchase. UPDATE: It sheds like crazy! This rug was exactly what i was looking for! High quality and not scratchy. The color is perfect - almost charcoal gray and dark brown mixed. Very pleased! Update - rug faded quite drastically around the furniture after the first year so we flipped it over for year two. Same fading happened again so now I will need to buy a new rug after two years.
