This rug looks great in my dining room. It is pretty thick but I love the texture. I was concerned about tripping over the corners or having it slide on the hardwood and it hasn’t done that so far. Perfect for my coastal home. I have a small ocean view, and wanted something for the back room that picked up the blue ocean and sky hues, and this is spot-on. The product photos here on the website are absolutely accurate-probably more so than my photos, due to lighting issues. The rug arrived on time, and is exactly as pictured. Its more of a jute than a soft rag-rug type. The channels are sturdy, which I like. (feels like a foot massage, lol) I put a cushy felt pad underneath to give it a little more oomph. It was a little stinky on arrival, as many manufactured products wrapped in plastic are, so I put a fan on it for a bit and let it air out-no big deal at all.
